Sagres sits right at the southwestern tip of the Algarve, a small, wind-battered town with a lot of older stone-built homes that were never designed with heating in mind.

Between the Atlantic wind and the winter damp, a warm floor matters more out here than almost anywhere else in the region. Milling into an existing floor means no long building project in a town this size.
